Computer Training Facility – In order to prepare the youths of the No. 2 River community, the youth centre complex will also be fitted with computer training facility to train youths in basic computer programmes. In a country where more than 70% of the population are yet to come in contact with a computer let alone operate it, such a programme will come in handy. This will also greatly benefit school leavers and young graduates who require literacy in computer to have an edge in the job market. Literacy in computer will also enhance the use of the internet whiles incorporating these Sierra Leonean youths in the global village with facebook and twitter at their disposals.

The idea behind this is that young people can come to a place with steady electricity access and the opportunity to learn how to use a computer. Not everyone has the opportunity to get a computer or laptop themselves. Here they will have access to both the internet and socializing in a safe environment. Mastering a computer is an important prerequisite for job opportunities and an important factor of being young. With conscious adults present, emphasis will be placed on how to present oneself on the internet in social media such as Facebook.
